Adidas MiCoach game launching this summer, headed to Xbox 360 and PS3

Despite being involved in that peaceful conundrum with THQ, we knew Adidas still planned on launching its MiCoach video game at some point in the near future. Now, after weeks of keeping those lips sealed, the German company announced it's teaming up with publisher 505 Games to finally bring the fitness-driven title to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 -- where it'll primarily use the Kinect and Move add-ons. While 505 will handle all publishing duties, Adidas notes the MiCoach game is in the works by UK developer Chromativity "under exclusive license." Of course, the F50 creator couldn't leave its big name reps out of this one, which is why sport celebs like Kaká, José Mourinho and Dwight Howard are going to be teaching "Masterclasses" within the game. Hey, at least now you know you won't have to be out on the field to put that tracking system to good use.

Zillow Reports Record Q1 Revenue Of $22.8M, Buys Rental Software Developer RentJuice For $40M

Real estate listings site Zillow just reported strong Q1 earnings. The company reported record revenue of $22.8 million, up 103% over first quarter 2011. Net Income came in at $1.7 million, resulting in EPS of $0.06. Analysts expected earnings of $0.03 per share on revenue of $21.5 million. Zillow is also buying rental marketing software maker RentJuice, as we reported earlier this year. The transaction is all-cash, valued at $40 million.

Consumer Electronics Daily News: CEA Names Industry Leaders to ...

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA^?) today announced the 2012 class of inductees into the Consumer Electronics (CE) Hall of Fame. The CE Hall of Fame, created in 2000, honors the leaders in the consumer technology industry who have shaped and advanced innovation.

The inductees this year include company founders and inventors, those who fervently promote technology, gifted marketers and the retailers that educate and deliver products to consumers. They all share a passion for innovation. The 2012 class of inductees was selected on February 22, 2012, in New York City by a panel of media and industry professionals, who judged the nominations submitted online by manufacturers, retailers and industry journalists.

?This elite group of leaders has laid the foundation that our industry continues to build upon,? said CEA President and CEO Gary Shapiro. ?Their vision, drive to excel and enthusiasm have helped to create the innovative CE products and services that have improved the lives of consumers worldwide. It is a pleasure to recognize this prestigious group.?

The 12 new honorees will be inducted into the CE Hall of Fame during CEA?s Industry Forum to be held in San Francisco on October 14-17, 2012.?During the event, CEA will host an awards dinner to honor the 2012 CE Hall of Fame class on Tuesday, October 16 at the Westin St. Francis.
